Premium Rooms 2021

The Glenwood Home Trust Board approved a new development in 2021 to expand the

number of available rooms at Glenwood Home to 45. The new build was started late in

March 2021 and was completed in mid-October 2021.

Three new rooms have been added to Glenwood each with their own ensuite. These rooms

are architecturally designed with the particular needs of aged care residents in mind. The

rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed.

These premium rooms were officially opened by the chairperson Lynley Simmons on 15

October. This new wing has been named the Lynley Simmons wing, in recognition of

Lynley’s significant contribution to Glenwood for 20 years and as board chairperson for 11

years.
